Tapestry Holidays
www.tapestryholidays.com
Working in conjunction with Motionpath Digital Media and MB Commerce Ltd on the re-designed Tapestry Holidays site for 2006.

Man Bites Dog
www.manbitesdog.biz
Man Bites Dog are a newly formed independent PR consultancy specialising in professional services, IT/Telco and creative industries. They needed a complete brand identity, which reflected their dynamic flare and expertise with their field. This included both brand creation, stationary and print design, and a clean yet animated website.
Based on the design priciples i had set up in the companies printed media, i created a fully animated but clear and concise website using Flash MX. Additionally i coded a plain XHTML/CSS site, based on the Flash version, to help with search engineeering and for visitors still on slower internet connections.
Exclusive Escapes
www.exclusiveescapes.co.uk
Exclusive Escapes Ltd offer a portfolio of holidays to uncommercialised areas of Turkey. They needed a site that could show off their large portfolio of properties, but extend on what already appears in their brochures by showing additional images, room by room tours and 360° panoramic views, as well as the ability to book holidays online.
The site was built using XHTML and CSS within the framework of the Smarty template engine which in turn is controlled by PHP. Every page of the well over 2,000 page site uses both queries to a PostgreSQL database and the templating engine to gather and display the rich content. The majority of the pages have a JavaScript driven image gallery and a content controlled menuing system.
Exclusive Escapes have complete control over the content of almost every page within the site, the only exception being form pages, as well as control of menu items, main images, thumbnails, lists, price tables with complete sequencing of all these items, all of which is accessed via a back-end administration system.
Lumenessence Recordings
www.lumenessence.co.uk
Lumenessence Recordings Ltd are a Brighton based independent music label. Having produced sleeve designs for the label for the last 2 years i was asked to design and code a web site that reflected the branding that so successfully tied together their catalogue.
Using colours taken from the labels offices, and photographs of art-deco buildings in and around Brighton, i designed and produced an XHTML framework and stylesheets for the site. This was then given to an independent back-end coder who produced the content engine, forum and paypal integration for the site. A final style tweak brought the forum and shop sections in line with the rest of the site.
Michellen Media
www.michellenmedia.com
Michellen Media are a Reading based retailer of online digital literacy tutorials. Using the IC3 training guides as their starting point, Michellen Media wanted to produce a series of interactive online training manuals which could be tied to an examination system. The "Michellen Media Guide to Digital Literacy" is a series of interlinked pages, mixing text explanations, instructions, graphical examples and movie clips to enable teachers or individual students to study and practice knowledge of Computing basics and software specifics through a browser front end.
The guides themselves are XHTML and CSS based, cross browser compatible and are completely self contained, enabling them to be translated into any language as required. Each of the guides is colour coded for ease of recognition and graphically indicates progress through the system throughout.
Additionally to the coding of the guides, an online presence was needed to create awareness and showcase the system. This main site needed to be cross browser compatible as well as SEO friendly and region specific/multi-language.
MBC Motionpath
site no longer active
In order to promote the newly created "umbrella" branding of MB Commerce Ltd and Motionpath an online presence was required that would have an immediate impact.
This was a true exercise in Search Engine Optimisation and structured coding. The site is written in structured XHTML and CSS and has keyword rich content specifically written to fit within the code structure, all of which means the site had the greatest impact on search engine algorithms from launch.
