Aion MCV Cover
Marketing magazine MCV’s front cover spread promoting NCsoft’s up-and-coming MMORPG title Aion.
Aside from the logo and the illustration of the Elyos in the top left of the rear cover, everything else on this design was fabricated, from rendering the clouds to the hand painted feathers and, once the composition was assembled, each element had to be colour matched and lite correctly. In production the cover featured a spot UV varnish overlay on the front cover feather and a Celtic style pattern on the rear cover.
