Sketchie - Rifles of the 1900’s Poster
Poster produced to promote the launch of Sketchie’s “Rifles of the 1900’s” 12” single on Lumenessence Records.
Based on a pre-established template for posters which featured the releases artwork, details of other releases from the label and an area set aside for quotes and reviews. I wanted to turn this template on it’s head by burning and scorching parts of the poster conveying a sense that it was being viewed during a period of revolutionary or civil unrest, re-enforcing the message of the releases artwork (which i also illustrated).
